THE sport of rugby league is growing in popularity with female participants in Queensland – with registration numbers increasing year to year.

For those interested in finding out more about the game – or just want to test the water before signing on with a club for a full season – there are a number of clinics and Come and Try Days being offered during the year.

This month, each of the Greater Brisbane Junior Rugby League Zones are offering a Come and Try Day for girls aged 12-18.

Pine Central (March 7) and Norths St Josephs (March 14) have already held their event – but Souths Junior Rugby League Club and Logan Brothers will both host theirs in coming weeks.

Souths:
Friday, March 21
4pm – 6pm

Logan Brothers:
Friday, March 28
4pm – 6pm

No experience is necessary.
