The Queensland Under 20s team has rounded out its preparations for tomorrow’s representative clash against NSW with a sharp session at Guilford Leagues tonight.

The only hiccup came at the start of the session when it took about 20 minutes for the floodlights to work.

But it didn’t take anywhere near as long for the Maroons to switch on with the players completing an intense warm up drill under the watchful eye of strength and conditioning coach Chris McKenna.

Head coach Kevin Walters and assistant Kurt Richards then took control as the Maroons went through their attacking plays with the ball in hand.

Halves Anthony Milford and Jaelen Feeney called the shots as Queensland put the finishing touches to its preparations.

Apart from the lights, the only other concern was whether the team would get back to its Parramatta hotel in time to watch the start of the Test match between Australia and New Zealand.

One of the Queensland players even gave Walters a 'hurry up', but the former Maroons and Kangaroos playmaker was quick to put the chirpy youngster back in his place.

“I don’t need to watch the Test, I played 11 of them,” Walters quipped, much to the amusement of the rest of the squad.
