Cherbourg Hornets are the Central/South Burnett champions after defeating Theodore Roosters in the Cup grand final 50-20.

Once again Cherbourg's attack left the Theodore side in trouble from the kick off. Hornets fullback Fred Aubrey scored three tries and converted seven goals for a personal score of 26 points, with doubles also by Daniel Cobbo and Nathan Gadd.

Theodore Roosters player Shane Hooper grabbed a double for his team. The game had to be called off with an injury with six minutes remaining to a Theodore interchange player who was then airlifted to Bundaberg in a stable condition and was cleared late that night.

The Plate final saw Wondai Wolves and Monto Roos face off. Wondai Wolves proved too strong in a fiery game, running out 30-16 winners.

The competition now splits back to normal with Central Burnett (Theodore, Monto, Munduberra and Gayndah) and South Burnett (Wondai, Cherbourg, Nanango, Murgon and Kingaroy) playing one more complete round until finals start again.
