Northern Pride forward Ben Spina has been charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Throw following his team's win over the Easts Tigers last Saturday.

Spina will need to successfully challenge the charge if he is to play in next Sunday's grand final at Suncorp Stadium against the winner of the Easts Tigers v Wynnum Manly clash.

Tigers five-eighth Cody Walker was charged with a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle but is in no danger of missing this weekend's vital clash.
