Easts Tigers forward Troy Giess (pictured) has been charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Throw.

An early plea to a Grade 2 charge will see him miss two matches, while a guilty charge rules him out for three games.

The charge will be heard at a Wednesday night judiciary hearing, with the Tigers expected to challenge the grading.

Easts Tigers FOGS Cup captain Luke Lavelle has been charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Throw and is in danger of missing his team's grand final against Wynnum Manly Seagulls.
