THE Queensland Nga Hau E Wha Maori Rugby League tournament was held on the weekend on October 4-5 in Kingscliff and from this, the Queensland Nga Hau E Wha Maori rugby league representative team was selected to play the NZ Maori rugby league team.

The NZ Maori team are touring Queensland this week – and on Saturday will play a game against the Queensland Murri Men’s side at the inaugural Murri Queensland Indigenous versus New Zealand Maori carnival at Wynnum Manly.

Before Saturday’s game, the will also play a match against the Queensland Nga Hau E Wha Maori rugby league team this Wednesday night (October 15) at Deception Bay JRLFC. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
