THE Tweed Heads Seagulls are inviting all talented and aspiring players to their Under 20 / Colts Opens trial on Sunday, November 30.
The 106 year old club has fostered many current NRL stars such as New Zealand international Jeremy Smith and NSW Origin Player Michael Gordon.
Last season alone saw local products Cody Nelson, Tom Kingston and Caleb Binge all make their debuts, while four Colts earned National Youth Competition contracts.
Recent team success since entering the Queensland Cup in 2003 includes:
• Queensland Cup and Colts Champions in 2007
• Intrust Super Cup and Colts Runners up in 2011
Tweed Heads Seagulls provides talented young players with a pathway to the NRL and NYC as a direct feeder club to the Gold Coast Titans, as well as fielding junior representative sides in the prestigious Cyril Connell (Under 16) and Mal Meninga (Under 18) competitions.
The club pride themselves on providing players with the opportunity to fulfil their football dreams.
Trial Date: Sunday, November 30
Trial Times: Assemble 2pm, Kick-off 3pm (QLD time)
Requirements: Socks, shorts, and boots
