Approximately 100 Under 13, Under 14 and Under 15 players from the Toowoomba Junior Rugby League have been selected to continue training in the off season to prepare for next season.

The boys are into their fifth week of training, which has been held at Gold Park for the past five Tuesdays. There is one more session left before they have a break for the holidays.

The boys have then been invited to a camp being held at UQ’s Gatton Campus on the last weekend in January where they will have the opportunity to fine tune their newly developed skills in preparation for the 2015 season.

The players have been trained by a group of coaches combined from different clubs in the TJRL along with rep coordinator Darren Wilson and Clydesdales coaching director Chris McEwan.

These training squads have continued to grow and have become a popular addition to the rep program.
