FORMER Queensland Origin forward Petero Civoniceva has encouraged rugby league fans thinking of getting more involved with the game as a coach or sports trainer to take up the opportunity.

“Not only is it one of the most rewarding things you can do, it’s also a great way to give back to your community and make some great friend’s.

“From Under 6s right through to Origin to Test footy, coaching plays a vital role.

The NRL will be providing an opportunity for all potential coaches & rugby league sports trainers to participate in ‘the greatest game of all’ by providing an off season education program which will include NRL accreditation courses for the following catergories:

  • MOD GAMES COACHING (Under 6 to Under 12) - $55.00
  • INTERNATIONAL GAMES (Under 13 to Senior) - $55.00
  • CLUB COACH LEVEL 1 (Under 6 to Senior) - $75.00
  • ANNUAL COACHING UPDATE - FREE
  • LEVEL 1 SPORTS TRAINER (FIRST AID) COURSE
    2 DAYS - $180.00
  • LEVEL 1 SPORTS TRAINER RE-ACCREDITATION
    6 HOURS - $60.00
  • RECOGNISED PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
