Last Tuesday, NRL games development officer Dean Bosnich and Mitch Sergeant put some very enthusiastic young ladies through their paces, showing them some core skills and drills at Brothers Oval, Toowoomba.

With 15 keen players showing up and registration of another 21, it proves girls footy could be looking promising in the Garden City.

The girls were asked to return next Tuesday and hopefully bring some friends so that the Toowoomba Junior Rugby League can hopefully get some teams together to host a competition for the girls.

The girls will also have the opportunity to be chosen in the U16 Toowoomba team to go to the Mustang trials in May and then possibly on to the State Carnival in June/July. For more information, phone Dean Bosnich 0427 165 910 or Tanya Anderson 0423 128 738
