THE junior grounds at Centenary recently held a great day of girls rugby league – with girls from all corners of South East Queensland coming together to test their skills.

There were 20 teams attend from various clubs across Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast on Saturday, March 28.

The more than 250 girls in attendance enjoyed a day of non-competitive rugby league in the Under 13 / Under 15 and Under 18 age divisions.

The event was staged in the lead up to this year’s South East Queensland Girls Divisional competition that is due to commence on the weekend April 18.

The All Girls Challenge event will again be held in 2016 to promote the competition.

If you missed out on this opportunity – the Titans School Girl Challenge will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at Helensvale.

As a special treat, the whole Jillaroos team will be in attendance in the afternoon.
