Round 13 of NDRL saw big one sided scores across all three matches.

Gin Gin were able to field a team this week with 11 players digging deep and lasting the full 80 minutes against the home side Avondale. The tigers scored 15 tries with Nathan Leather scoring four of them along with 12 goals to have a great day out for his club. Gin Gin managed to cross twice with Maurice Hinton and Phillip Lindsay putting points on the board for the Hawks who went down 84-8.

Miriam Vale made easy work of Agnes Water winning 62-6 with William Button scoring five tries and Brent Crawford kicking five goals for the Magpies. Miriam Vale is heading into the finals with some confidents and easy wins of late.

In the first game South Kolan thrashed Burnett Heads 74-6 making their run to the finals a seemingly easy affair with only a two rounds left.  Law kicked eight goals for the Sharks with M Halasima scoring four tries and Tonga bagging a triple.

Last week’s matches at Agnes Water saw Gin Gin having to forfeit to South Kolan due to players out with work commitments, injury and suspension.

Miriam Vale beat Burnett Heads 48-18 and Avondale beating hosts Agnes Water 38-16.

Next round is at Burnett Heads. 12 noon Gin Gin takes on Agnes Water, 1.30pm South Kolan verse Miriam Vale and 3pm Burnett Heads verse Avondale. Sharks v Magpies will be the game of the round with the two likely to finish first and second on the ladder at the end of the season.
