There are some exciting opportunities being provided to girls who play rugby league with All Girls Club Challenges being staged at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast and Mackay in the next few months.

Girls in from across Queensland the following age divisions are invited to participate in the challenges:

  • Under 14
  • Under 16
  • Under 18

These challenges offer an exciting opportunity for all girls across Queensland to further their involvement in rugby league for 2015 and beyond.

This is a great initiative that holds value in achieving future outcomes and pathway opportunities for girls in the game.

Sunshine Coast All Girls Club Challenge:

Nominations can be emailed to girlscoordinator@falcons.com.au by no later than Close of Business on Monday, August 10.

Date:    Sunday, August 16, 2015
Time:    9am-5pm
Venue:  Maroochydore Junior Rugby League, Wises Road Maroochydore 4556

All games will be 9 played a side (minimum of 11 players per team)

QRL registered individual nominations are accepted and girls will be placed in teams on the day.

Mackay All Girls Club Challenge:

Girls rugby league teams in the north of the state are encouraged to circle November 7 in the calendar; with Mackay set to host the inaugural All Female Carnival on November 7-8 for the following age divisions:

  • Under 14
  • Under 16
  • Under 18
  • Opens

The carnival will be held at the Mackay Junior Rugby League Grounds (Casey Avenue).
