Leading Try / Point Scorers 2015

Despite scoring two tries in their Round 25 win over the Redcliffe Dolphins; Townsville Blackhawks winger Zac Santo was unable to catch up to this year’s Leading Try Scorer in the Intrust Super Cup, Marmin Barba.

The Ipswich Jets flyer scored a try of his own in his side’s final round victory over the Sunshine Coast to finish the regular season with a total of 27 tries. Santo was next on 26, while a four-try haul for the Pride in their game against the Capras moved Linc Port to 24 tries and into third positon over Hunters skipper Israel Eliab with 22.

While all four leading try scorers are involved in the finals series this year – the competition’s Leading Points Scorer comes from outside the top six, with Redcliffe captain and halfback Luke Capewell topping the tally.

In the FOGS Colts Challenge competition – both the Leading Points Scorer and Leading Try Scorer ladders have been claimed by members of the minor premiership-winning Burleigh Bears.
