QUEENSLAND Maroons coach Mal Meninga has encouraged rugby league fans thinking of getting more involved with the game as a coach or sports trainer to take up the opportunity.

“There are many ways to be involved in the great game of rugby league."

“If you’re thinking about being a coach or a sports trainer, I recommend it. It’s the next best thing to actually playing."

“I remember how influential my coaches were when I was growing up. Without them I would never have accomplished as much as I have whether it was playing or coaching.”
