The Central Highlands is set to showcase female talent from right across the state in its inaugural Highlands Hit Out Ladies Gala Carnival on March 11-13 in Emerald.

The Hit Out will kick on Friday, March 11 with a planned schoolgirls carnival to showcase and highlight our young and upcoming talent.

On the Friday afternoon, QRL Education and Welfare Manager Trish Drummond will deliver dedicated female education and welfare programs to our female players.

On Saturday, it’s Game Day with a 13-a-side carnival set to be played all day.

On Saturday night, there will be a Gala Evening with special guest speakers to highlight the success of the female game.

To finish it up on Sunday morning, we will host a female-only clinic with Queensland and Australian coaches.

Nominations will close 5pm Friday, February 26.
