Last weekend saw the return of the RDJRL fixtures and with five games to go before finals; teams are now looking to find that consistent form to cement a top four position.
In the Under 13 age group, Norths and Gracemere played out a thriller with the Knights getting home by two points.
Cap Coast Brothers took the points in a tough encounter while Brothers and Yeppoon recorded wins to continue their charge at a top four spot
In the Under 14 competition, Emu Park followed up their Charity Shield win with a solid performance against Brothers, while Norths, Cap Coast Brothers and Yeppoon all hard strong wins.
The Under 15 age group is getting close for final spots. Fitzroy’s cemented their place at top of the ladder getting over the tough Yeppoon side, while Brothers White edged their way closer to a finals berth defeating Norths. Brothers Blue recorded their first win of the year defeating Emu Park.
Last weekend was the last week in the u16 competition that the teams did not have their Cyril Connell players. With the top four sides all within two points of each other the next few weeks will see some interesting football.
Credit must go to the players that have stepped up for their sides while their representative players have been away. Brothers just finished on top of Emu Park, Norths played strong for a good win over Cap Coast Brothers while Fitzroy’s had their first win defeating Yeppoon.
Teams in the Under 18 age group will again be without their Mal Meninga Cup players as the Capras cemented a finals spot with a on the hooter win in Cairns on the weekend.
Brothers White were able to get over a determine Norths outfit on Friday, while their blue counterparts hard to work hard for the points over Emu Park. Fitzroy’s keep plugging way and were rewarded with a very good win over Yeppoon.

Round 8 will see most the International games played on Friday night with Emu Park and Tigers facing off on Saturday.
