The Queensland Rugby League have today announced the Queensland Women’s team to play NSW in the Interstate Challenge next month.

Watch QRL chairman Peter Betros make the annoucement in the video above.

This game will be played on Saturday, July 23 at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast prior to the Round 20 NRL match between the Titans and Parramatta.

The Queensland Women’s team have been one of the most successful representative sides in the state, and are undefeated in 17 years. However, NSW are improving every year and last year the two teams played out a 4-4 draw.

The team was selected following the staging of the Women’s State Carnival last weekend.
