It's nearly that time!

After a couple of weeks' break, the Origin juices have started to flow again with anticipation building for Holden State of Origin Game II on June 22 at Suncorp Stadium.

After winning a wet Game I slug-fest at ANZ Stadium, it's hard to justify changing a winning XXXX Queensland Maroons team, but injuries to Game I stars may force changes on the reigning Origin champions.

Former Origin Great Scott Prince has weighed in on his picks, should personnel changes be required. He jumped on the QRL Team Picker and built his ideal XXXX Maroons 17.

"I think Sam Thaiday had a bit of a problem last night and Corey Oates got a knock, but hopefully they'll be right for Game II," he said.

Should they not recover in time, the former champion half-back says the Maroons are spoiled for choice for ready replacements. "I think Kyle Feldt would be a great replacement for Corey, if Corey doesn't scrub up OK. Kyle's name was being mentioned around Game I time, so he would be a straight swap into the team for me."

Sam Thaiday also seemed to have a knee problem last night, but played on in the Broncos win last night. "Luckily the Maroons have got Gavin Cooper to slot straight in if Sam is out. He was brought into camp for Game I, so he's high on the list and he deserves a crack - his form has been outstanding for a few years now," Prince said.

The official XXXX Queensland Maroons team for Game II will be announced on Monday afternoon, with the players gathering for the start of Camp II throughout the day.
