The Burleigh Bears annual Old Boys Luncheon Reunion is to be held on Saturday, July 30 at the Burleigh Leagues Club.
All ex-players and supporters are encouraged to come along and enjoy the day.
The reunion this year will focus on the premiership teams of the “SIXES” ... 1976 and 1986 (Under 19’s), the 1996 reserve grade team and all the teams from the 2006 season where Burleigh won the Under 19’s, reeserve grade and A grade in the local competition along with the FOGS Cup (pictured).
Following the luncheon, the club will be hosting the local Burleigh v Tugun games in all three grades which was the case in 2006 when Burleigh won all three grades on Grand Final day.
As an extra attraction, Bears fans will see their top of the table Intrust Super Cup team up against the Northern Pride following the local Burleigh / Tugun games.
Bookings for the luncheon which commences at 11.30am can be made by calling reception on 5617 6444. Tickets are $35 which includes lunch/refreshments and entry to the matches on the day.
