The QRL / NRL Summer Coaching Camp is back!
This year, the camp will be split in two sections:
- The Introduction to Rugby League Camp
- Player Development Camp
The Introduction to Rugby League camp invites new or non-registered children to participate, as well as registered players in the Under 9 to Under 13 (in 2017) age group.
The Player Development Camp is for registered and experienced players in the Under 12 to Under 15 (in 2017) age group.
Both camps will have activities including; high ropes, beach and pool activities, kayaking/canoeing, as well as fun-based rugby league games and inflatable activities.
The camp will be staffed by fully qualified fulltime NRL Game Development Officers and Queensland Rugby League staff.
The participants will also be visited by coaches and players from NRL clubs the Gold Coast Titans and Brisbane Broncos, as well as a special appearance from Queensland Maroons Origin coaching staff.
The camp will again be held at Tallebudgera Sport and Recreation Centre on the Gold Coast, beginning on Monday, December 12 and concluding on Wednesday, December 14.
The main emphasis placed on both camps is FUN, ENJOYMENT and DEVELOPMENT for all participants.
