Ethan Price has today been announced as the captain of the Queensland Universities team to play New South Wales Universities at Suzuki Stadium this Saturday.

A former Titans Under 20s player, Price played in the Intrust Super Cup this year for the Tweed Heads Seagulls.

The towering prop will spearhead an impressive line-up, which includes a host of players involved in QRL and NRL pathway competitions.

Easts Tigers hooker Chris Ostwald is the vice-captain, with club teammate Jamie Anderson to start at centre for the student Maroons.

Following the match, an Australian team will be selected to contest the Universities World Cup in Sydney next year.
