Incoming coach Souths Logan Magpies coach Jon Buchanan has made his mark at his new club, signing some key personnel for the 2017 season.

Headlined by the arrival of crafty half Matt Minto from the CQ Capras, Buchanan has also picked up some young talent from the National Youth Competition with Jordan Scott and Souths junior Simione Fatafehi (both Gold Coast Titans) joining the Magpies.

The side just missed out on a finals berth in the 2016 season and will be aiming high in 2017.
