Queensland’s emerging talent will be in Brisbane this week for a Queensland Academy of Sport development camp.
The Under 18 QAS camp will be held at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre from tomorrow (Thursday, January 19 to Sunday, January 22) with players to assemble under the guidance of experienced coaches Josh Hannay, Mick Roberts and QAS high performance coaching director Kurt Richards.
Former Queensland Origin representative David Shillington will also attend the camp to speak with the young players about his experiences in the NRL.
The players will take their game to another level through skills sessions and opposed training drills and they will learn about what it takes to represent Queensland.
The Under 18 high performance camp will be running concurrently with the Under 20 QAS Camp.
