The Anderson family from Ipswich recently featured in the Queensland Times newspaper for their combined love of rugby league.
This year, youngest daughter Peta will become the fourth member of the family to join the ranks of the Ipswich Referees Association.
Her mother Katrina is currently the vice-president of the association while dad Luke is returning for his 11th year as a referee.
Published on March 2 just before the season kicked off, the QT spoke to the family about why they have chosen to become so involved with the game.

Like plenty of Ipswich families, the Anderson household is divided in their club loyalties.
Luke Anderson and his son Riley are avid Brisbane Broncos fans who have endured constant reminders of their Suncorp Stadium loss to the Melbourne Storm by Luke's wife Katrina.
"It was a fantastic night,” Katrina laughed.
"The Broncos fans I was with wanted to leave early but I made them stay. I had a fun time.”
With 13-year-old daughter Peta prepared to support whoever is in front, the Anderson's can't wait for when Brisbane again host the Storm in round 17.
