Former Maroons and Kangaroo hooker Kerrod Walters talks to QRL Media about his admiration for the current Queensland side's achievements.

Speaking to Peter Psaltis at the 2017 Origin series launch at Brisbane's City Hall on Tuesday night (May 23), Wallters said he was impressed at how huge Origin had become.

He also took a good-natured dig at his brother, Maroons coach Kevin Walters, for his emotional press conference on Monday announcing the Game I team.

But he said the family was proud of his series win last year, given the pressure he was under in replacing Mel Meninga as coach of the Maroons juggernaut.
