During this year’s Holden State of Origin series, the XXXX Queensland Maroons have been celebrating their Statesmen – an elite group of players who have achieved a special milestone.
The FOGS Statesman Award is given to players who have achieved 30 games in a Maroons jersey – an exclusive club with only nine members so far.
In A Salute to Our Statesmen: Part III we look at the careers of three legends that personify the recent dominance of the Maroons over the last 11 years; Nate Myles (32 games), Johnathan Thurston (37 games) and Cameron Smith (41 games).
