It was a whole-hearted defensive effort from both teams (remarkably – both sides made 317 tackles) when the Tweed Heads Seagulls hosted the Northern Pride last weekend.
Gulls hooker Sam Meskell however topped the tackle count for the entire competition in Round 24, making 47 – but his effort was not enough to stop the Pride from stealing a last-gasp win over Tweed Heads.
