A proud PNG Hunters coach Michael Marum shared his thoughts with QRL Media following his team’s historic Intrust Super Cup win.

It was a tough and close game and Marum admitted he was already thinking about playing extra time football after Willie Minoga scored the try to level the game – just in case the conversion attempt from Ase Boas failed.

He admitted to being surprised by his speed to touch down on the ball, thinking someone outside him might have had a better chance.

Marum also said that it was a great effort not only from his team, but opponents the Sunshine Coast Falcons as well who put everything into the match.
