Two rising prospects in the game Keegan Hipgrave and Payne Haas went head-to-head last weekend - and finished their 'flockbuster' match with remarkably similar stats.
Haas, playing prop for Wynnum Manly, was on the field for 66 minutes, completed 27 tackles and ran for 207m; while Tweed Heads forward Keegan Hipgrave - also playing prop - was also on the field for 66 minutes and also ran for 207 minutes.
However, Hipgrave made 31 tackles in Tweed's last-gasp win.
Elsewhere, there were strong performances across the competition, with reliable contributors Nat Neale (Ipswich Jets) and Johnny Faletagoa'i (Mackay Cutters) amongst the metres, while Burleigh's Pat Politoni made 46 tackles.
