Round 8 STATS: Leading from the front

The forwards literally led the way - literally and statistically - in last weekend's Round 8 matches.

Norths lock John Palavi produced a captain's knock in his side's closely-fought win over Easts Tigers, with 208m from 21 runs and 31 tackles.

Up north, Rod Griffin put in a powerhouse performance for the Blackhawks as they accounted for Souths Logan, producing 197m from 22 runs.

PNG lock Rahdly Brawa and Sunshine Coast Falcons hooker Harry Grant shared the top tackler honours, both making 41 in their team's losses.
