Devils young gun Gehamat Shibasaki was a man on a mission last weekend – running for the most metres in the competition.
The Broncos-contracted centre made 264m for his team – but that was not enough to down the Mackay Cutters who produced a rousing upset at Bishop Park.
His performance however did secure him a spot in the Round 9 Intrust Super Cup Team of the Week.
Shibasaki's captain John Palavi also topped the tackle count with 49; just pipping Jet Key from the Capras with 45 and Townsville's Andrew Davey with 44.
