Playing fantasy football has become one of the favoured pastimes of rugby league supporters over the past decade - but could it help selectors pick a handy State of Origin side?
QRL Media digital whiz and fantasy football diehard Nathan Jones put the theory to the test for two popular platforms - NRL Fantasy and NRL Supercoach.
For those unfamiliar with these games, they are based upon statistics and the actual in-game work-rate of NRL players on a weekly basis.
We gave Nathan a few guidelines to stick by.
Firstly, players had to have played a minimum of three games for their average to be considered.
Secondly, only players available in those positions in the online games could be selected in those spots for this simulation.
