Schoolboys vie for England tour at national champs

The 18 Years Queensland Schools Team have begun their training camp at the Gold Coast in the lead-up to next week's National Championships in Kingscliff.

Coach Dave Ackers from Kirwan State High School is confident of a strong showing after last week's 15 Years National Championships victory for Queensland.

"We've got a good group of young men representing Queensland and we'll be looking to perform against some quality opposition in Kingscliff."

The Australian Schoolboys Team named at the carnival will travel to England at the end of the year.
