The Broncos have named their inaugural NRL Women's team captains ahead of their historic first match on Sunday.

Jillaroo Ali Brigginshaw has been named the team's captain while Britt Breayley will be the vice-captain.

Coach Paul Dyer made the announcement over the weekend as the team completed a camp down on the Gold Coast.

Brigginshaw and Breayley will now lead the Broncos NRLW team out when they player a trial match against the PNG Orchids at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

That match will kick off at 1.30pm as the first game of a double header that includes the Broncos-Sea Eagles NRL game.
