Burleigh Bears' Intrust Super Cup squad is in good shape for the 2019 season, having only lost star prop Matt White to retirement.
After guiding the Bears to last year’s preliminary final, coach Jim Lenihan will be aiming to take the club into the showpiece game of the season this year.
The 2016 premiers have retained the core group of last year’s squad and have added some talented recruits to the mix including Tyronne Roberts-Davis from Gold Coast Titans and Jacob Hind from Sunshine Coast Falcons.
With the guidance of inspirational leaders Jamal Fogarty, Luke Page, Pat Politoni and Blake Leary, the Bears will again be a competitive side in 2019.
