Origin referees Gerard Sutton and Ashley Klein.

Gerard Sutton and Ashley Klein will again be the on-field referees for the second match of the Holden State of Origin series.

Sutton and Klein were the men with the whistle in Origin I, and will again take charge in Perth on Sunday night with Jared Maxwell and Ben Galea in the Bunker and Nick Beashel and Chris Butler the touch judges.

"Both Gerard and Ashley officiated well in State of Origin I," NRL head of football elite competitions Graham Annesley said.

"In fact the entire group performed well in the first match of the series.

"They bring big-game experience into a crucial match, and it is certainly beneficial to maintain some consistency through the series."

Grant Atkins and Belinda Sharpe will referee Friday night's women's State of Origin match at North Sydney Oval.

Tim Roby and Phil Henderson have been selected as touch judges for that match, while Henry Perenara (Senior Review Official) and Ben Lowe (Review Official) will operate the NRL Bunker.
