Have we found Queensland Maroons' biggest fan?

His name is Frog, but he is a cane toad at heart.

Is Frog Johnson the Queensland Maroons' biggest fan? He is a long-time Maroon Member, decorates his house maroon, chooses his underwear based on the colour of the jersey and even planned his wedding and honeymoon around the State of Origin schedule.

"I am everything Queensland - I bleed maroon," Johnson said.

"State of Origin is the best."

The 44-year-old and wife Tess, who deck out their entire house at Beenleigh, south of Brisbane, in maroon come Origin time, welcomed daughter Matilda to the world on Sunday and she already has a Maroons onesie - or three.

"We're just passionate about our state," Johnson said.

"We've put in to get a Queensland State of Origin birth certificate."

Johnson said he was very much looking forward to the 2020 series, especially now Valentine Holmes was back in the mix.

"I'm glad he's back in Queensland... he'll have to fight for his position but he's one of the best," Johnson said.

"Being a Member, I like learning about all the things happening with the team - start to finish, and going along to see the team train.

"I feel like I'm part of the team."

Ticketed memberships are on sale now. Johnson reckons they’re invaluable.
