Ipswich Jets: Gains and losses for season 2021

An emerging rugby league nations representative returns to the game and a favourite son has been welcomed back into the fold for Ipswich Jets in 2021.

Canada Wolverines half Rhys Jacks – who most recently played in the Intrust Super Cup with Sunshine Coast Falcons and Easts Tigers – has come back to the game after playing rugby union last season.

The club have also welcomed back fan favourite Wes Conlon, who has come out of retirement to again join with the squad.

An exciting outside back, Conlon last played for the Jets in 2018 and won the Ipswich A Grade final with Brothers Ipswich in 2019.

Hugh Sedger, who debut in Cup with the Jets in 2016, has also come back to the club last playing Cup with Northern Pride.

This weekend, the Jets will begin their 2021 Cup campaign by hosting Townsville Blackhawks for their Defence Force Appreciation Day event.
