Community feedback helps shape new-look Equipment Hub

It's an exciting day in community rugby league circles with the relaunch of Equipment Hub, stocking plenty of new products in response to feedback received from across the state.

A new and improved range of training, playing and game day equipment is now available on the Queensland Rugby League's one-stop online shop for community clubs and participants, just in time for Christmas and the new season ahead.

Feedback received from a recent survey on Equipment Hub suggested the new platform has been a welcomed addition to assist community rugby league clubs and participants purchase boots, footballs and training gear - especially when using the exclusive 15 per cent discount code.

But there were also a number of recommendations to stock a wider range of training and game day equipment, as well as first aid supplies such as kits and strapping tape; to which the QRL has taken on board and is now stocking.

Also suggested was the ability for pay via bank transfer, which has now been implemented to join other payments methods including credit card, PayPal and Afterpay.

QRL senior brand and marketing manager Jess Walker said the recent feedback from those who have purchased from Equipment Hub had been crucial to the growth of the new platform and as a thank you, all participating clubs went in the draw to win a $500 voucher.

"I want to congratulate Yarrabah on winning $500 to spend at the new and improved Equipment Hub for sharing their thoughts on our one-stop shop. It's no doubt topped off a huge year for the rugby league-mad community, which included winning the Cairns A Grade title recently," Walker said.

"Their feedback has been invaluable and it was great to hear from clubs like the Seahawks asking us to stock equipment such as first aid kits and supplies and a greater variety of training and game day equipment.

"Listening to feedback from right across the state, we can't wait to relaunch Equipment Hub today with updated products from our existing suppliers Steeden and PUMA, as well as including a range of new products from QRL-endorsed suppliers Madison and Alpha Sport.

"We want to continue to work with our clubs and participants to ensure we stock their requirements and make Equipment Hub the place to go for all their equipment needs.

"Plus, we will continue to offer our clubs and participants great value across the range with our 15 per cent discount available all year 'round on playing equipment.

"Remember... Christmas isn't too far away."
