Norths Devils on the hunt for BMD Premiership coach

Norths Devils have a dynamic opportunity for a head coach to guide their 2023 BMD Premiership team.

The club are seeking a coach passionate about the future of women’s rugby league by leading the first-ever senior women’s statewide squad at the historic club.

The team will compete in the statewide women’s competition, the BMD Premiership, a semi-professional level of rugby league that will create a pathway to the NRLW in Brisbane’s northern suburbs.

The Norths Devils have experienced ongoing success over 90 seasons, most recently winning the Cup premiership in 2021.

The BMD Premiership squad will be linked with Devils affiliates West Brisbane Panthers and Valleys Diehards who have also invested in women’s rugby league in recent years.

The squad will also have a connection with the Devils’ longstanding NRL affiliate club the Brisbane Broncos.

The Devils this year fielded the first women’s statewide team in their senior club history with the Harvey Norman Under 19 team establishing a foundation for a high-quality women’s program at the club.

This is an opportunity for an experienced coach with a track record of achievement and a desire to be a part of the future of rugby league.

The club is currently expressions of interest at football@northsdevilsrlfc.com.
