Queensland Rugby League and Lion - XXXX - have teamed up with 20 iconic Queenslanders to introduce the first digital NFT offering that celebrates the state and what it is to be a Queenslander.

The offering - titled 'The Ultimate Queenslander NFT' - consists of a drop of 10,000 Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on the Flow Blockchain and will be marketed and shared via Twitter and Discord with a floor price of $390, with the funds raised to be invested in community clubs and programs across Queensland.

The drop includes a June 29 presale of 1000 exclusive NFTs, followed by the main drop on July 6 for the remaining 9000 NFTs.

The 1000 NFT presale comes with exclusive money-can’t-buy fan experiences, including meet-and-greets with 20 iconic Queenslanders.

The Ultimate Queenslander NFT includes a set of legendary tokens - each one of them unique, with one being 'The King' Wally Lewis. There is also 19 other iconic Queenslanders including Karl Stefanovic, Nat Cook and the Stafford Brothers.

The Ultimate Queenslander NFT is also themed across different areas of Queensland including The Country, The Tropics, The Burbs, The City and The Beach.

“We’re continually evolving what we do for our fan base, who are continuing to connect with us digitally, and this connection is the perfect pathway to reward and engage the Queensland community," QRL CEO Rohan Sawyer said.

“By joining forces with a group of iconic Queenslanders from different industries, sports and backgrounds, we have created The Ultimate Queenslander NFT Digital Membership, giving owners access to money-can’t-buy experiences including events and prizes.

“XXXX and QRL are committed to returning profits from the program back to Queensland grassroots including our regional, indigenous, female pathways and diversity and inclusion programs."

When consumers trade, it will unlock their value across different sports and industries including rugby league, cricket, rugby union, surfing, entertainment and more.

“Non-Fungible Tokens projects such as ‘The Ultimate Queenslander NFT’ provide a fantastic way for Queenslanders to own an asset that represents them and the community in which they live. Our aim is to build a strong community around this project that will provide value well into the future," Playcasta Ken Lee said.

Consumers can purchase through Twitter or Discord and forms of payment can be made through traditional secured online payments by using a credit or debit card, or through an existing Cryptocurrency Wallet.

“We decided to utilise the Flow Blockchain by Dapper Labs due to its stability, speed and low cost of transactions, whilst leveraging their existing sporting user base," Lee said.

“Consumers can choose to buy through traditional secured online payments by using their credit or debit cards or, utilise an existing Crypto Wallet."
