Round 13 preview: Williams notches 100 games with Pride

Round 13 of the Hostplus Cup will see some special celebrations take place across the competition, with it also being BMD Indigenous Round, coinciding with NAIDOC Week.

NAIDOC Week this year will take place from July 3 to July 10, with the theme being Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! Rugby league clubs are encouraged to connect with Indigenous communities and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Most clubs - including Burleigh Bears, Brisbane Tigers, Souths Logan Magpies, Norths Devils, Ipswich Jets, Northern Pride, Central Queensland Capras and Wynnum Manly Seagulls - will be wearing specially designed Indigenous jerseys for the round, with detailed explanations of the artwork and the meaning behind it being shared on their club websites and social media accounts.
