Colts Finals Week 2: Wynnum Manly fire, Dolphins charge

Wynnum Manly Seagulls live on to fight another day in their campaign to win back-to-back Hastings Deering Colts titles after downing Tweed Seagulls yesterday.

Max Plath scored a double and kicked four of the team's five conversions in the 34-12 win.

Tweed however were in front early thanks to a double from winger Jett Forbes, with two successful conversion kicks from Tom Weaver giving the side a 12-6 lead at the halftime break.

However, the home side then scored five second-half tries while keeping the visitors scoreless to set up a date with Townsville Blackhawks next week.
