What you need to know: Queensland Murri Carnival 2022

The Queensland Murri Carnival is back, with players gearing up for a six day extravaganza this year.

Teams from under 6s right up to open men's and women's will take part in the 2022 carnival at Redcliffe's Moreton Daily Stadium and Dick 'Tosser' Turner Complex.

Run by the Arthur Beetson Foundation and Deadly Choices, the Queensland Murri Carnival also has a major focus on health and education, and is a smoke, drug, alcohol and sugar free event.

All players have to complete a health check to participate while junior players must have attended school 90 per cent of the time to compete.

This event has been sanctioned and endorsed by the QRL and all games will be played under the game rules and guidelines of the QRL.
