Wheelaroos squad named for semi-final

Skyring Wheelaroos coach Brett Clark has named his side for the World Cup semi-final against France at the England Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

“The team’s performance has continued to build each time they take to the pitch," Clark said. "The match-up against France is one of the moments we have been waiting for.

“Our plan is to stay focused and play our brand of football in Sheffield, the heartland of rugby league.

“The support we have received from rugby league fans in England and at home has boosted our focus and we are confident of outplaying the world champions on our terms."
