Sydney and Townsville will host matches in the historic 2023  Women’s Ampol State of Origin Series.

The National Rugby League today announced that the first ever two-match series will be played in June and hosted by Sydney’s CommBank Stadium and Townsville’s Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

The match details are as follows with links to Maroons memberships:

Club and state members can purchase tickets during today’s presale, with general public tickets to go on sale at 11am on Thursday, April 27 via nrl.com/tickets.

“For the first time ever, two women’s State of Origin matches will be played as part of a series,” NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said.

“Women’s Origin has grown significantly since the first match in 2018. The matches at CommBank Stadium and Queensland Country Bank Stadium will provide another opportunity to showcase the best female players in modern stadiums in front of passionate Queensland and New South Wales fans.

“Another exciting change is that the games will be played during primetime on Thursday nights.”

Seats are available from just $20 for adults and $40 for families, while juniors under 15 can enter free with a paying adult.

NRL Hospitality packages are on sale now at nrl.com/hospitality.

Series partner Ampol will once again showcase the game’s up-and-coming junior female players through the Ampol Little Origin program.

The next generation of female players will have the opportunity to take to the field at half-time, continuing the strong focus on aligning the elite game with grassroots programs.
