NRL State Championship team lists

The Brisbane Tigers will look to snap yet another drought this weekend when the Hostplus Cup premiers take on South Sydney Rabbitohs in the 2023 NRL State Championship.

The Tigers - coached by Matt Church - made history last weekend when they won  the club's first title in 32 years, which was also their first premiership in the Cup era.

This weekend, they will hope to do the same when they go to Sydney to take on the premiers of NSW Cup, South Sydney - coached by former Northern Pride mentor Joe O'Callaghan - at Accor Stadium on NRL grand final day.

The last time a Hostplus Cup side won the NRL State Championship was in 2015 when the Ipswich Jets overcame the Newcastle Knights 26-12.

Since then, Cup sides have struggled to get one back against their New South Wales counterparts, with the Tigers looking to snap yet another drought.

Former QRL Officiating High Performance Unit member Wyatt Raymond will referee this year's NRL State Championship, with Hostplus Cup grand final match official and current HPU member Tyson Brough to be a touch judge.

In the NRLW grand final, former and current HPU members Belinda Sharpe and Rochelle Tamarua will be part of the officiating team.

The NRL State Championship will kick off at 12.20pm in Queensland (1.20pm AEDT).

Here are the team lists for the 2023 NRL State Championship.
