Gold Coast Titans mentor Karyn Murphy has been crowned the NRLW's 2023 Dally M Coach of the Year.

Murphy is preparing to lead her Titans into Sunday's NRLW decider against the Knights - the first female to coach a team in the NRLW grand final.

The 53-year-old is the director of female rugby league at the Gold Coast Titans as well as the club's NRLW coach.

During her legendary playing career, Murphy played 15 seasons for Australia in an era where it was self-funded and she was the captain of the side for 14 of those years.

Currently she is the director of female rugby league at the Gold Coast Titans and the NRLW coach.

The other finalists for the NRLW Coach of the Year were Ronald Griffiths from the Knights and Darrin Borthwick from the Raiders.
