New Qplus.tv livestream platform ready to entertain

Queensland Rugby League is excited to launch its new Qplus.tv livestreaming platform ahead of the opening round of statewide competitions this weekend.

As the QRL’s home of livestreaming, Qplus.tv returns in 2024 with a new website and user experience for fans ready to be entertained by Queensland’s next generation of emerging male and female talent.

The Cyril Connell Cup, Mal Meninga Cup, Harvey Norman Under 17s and Harvey Norman Under 19s commence on Saturday, with the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership to follow next month.

More than 400 games from the six QRL statewide competitions will be streamed to Qplus.tv, along with selected games from all over Queensland.

QRL senior content and broadcast manager Tom Mitchell was excited to launch the new platform ahead of a big year of content.

“This is an outstanding result for Queensland Rugby League and the many players, clubs and competitions that make our great game what it is,” Mitchell said.

“In what will be its third year of operation, Qplus.tv is back with a brand new website, user experience and pricing plan allowing fans from across the state to stay connected to their favourite clubs and players.

“In 2024, we aim to deliver the best broadcast product and streaming service of any second-tier sport in Australia with every statewide competition match, plus selected representative and regional games, all hosted on the platform.

“A big thank you to everyone behind the scenes for making this possible and allowing us to strategically tell meaningful rugby league stories across this great state of Queensland.”

Fans will have the option to subscribe to Qplus.tv with three available offerings – season, monthly or ‘round’ pass.

At just $40 when purchased prior to March 10 with promo code ‘QRL2024’, the season pass represents great value for money.

Weekly feature games of Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership will also be free to fans who sign up.

A share of revenue raised from subscription revenue, and vital advertising opportunities, will be distributed to clubs and leagues who feature on Qplus.tv.
